The SmartGen solution is designed for the control of multiple generator sets operating in parallel with multiple independent utility mains connections. The system is based on HGM9510 and HGM9560 controllers, which provide synchronization, switching device control, and coordinated management of the entire power system.
The HGM9510 controllers manage the generator sets, providing automatic start, synchronization, and parallel connection to a common busbar. Once generator synchronization is completed, the HGM9560 controllers monitor and manage the connection of the system to the corresponding utility mains supplies.
Through MSC communication between the controllers, the system coordinates the operation of all generator sets and ensures accurate active and reactive power sharing. If the status of any mains supply changes, the system automatically adjusts its operating mode to maintain a stable and reliable power supply to the load.
This solution is suitable for large industrial facilities, power and infrastructure sites, data centers, hospitals, and other facilities with multiple utility mains connections, where power redundancy, parallel operation of multiple generator sets, and continuity of power supply are essential.
