The SmartGen solution is designed for automatic power management in facilities with three independent power sources. The system can operate with different source configurations, such as the utility grid and two generator sets, automatically selecting an available source according to predefined operating logic and source priorities.
The SmartGen HAT833S controller continuously monitors the electrical parameters and status of all power sources and controls the system switching devices. If the main source fails or its parameters exceed the configured limits, the controller automatically initiates transfer of the load to an available standby source. Once the preferred source is restored, the system can automatically transfer the load back according to the configured operating sequence.
The solution provides automatic transfer between three power sources, mains and genset monitoring, control of circuit breakers or ATSE devices, source priority management, configurable transfer delays, and flexible switching logic.
For critical loads, the system can also support a parallel transfer configuration, helping to minimize power interruption during transfer between available sources.
This solution is suitable for industrial facilities, hospitals, data centers, telecommunications infrastructure, commercial buildings, and other critical facilities where multiple-source redundancy and high power supply reliability are required.
